Villa Rum Cay is a spectacular south facing luxury villa enjoying a quiet cul-de-sac location of exclusive waterfront homes on Punta Gorda Isles on Port Charlotte harbour 120 square miles of sparkling water, teeming with fish and wildlife, leading down to the Gulf islands of Boca Grande,Sanibel and Captiva.

Punta Gorda is a quiet laid back town that remains largely undiscovered by tourism; yet all amenities are on your doorstep; waterfront restaurants, shopping, boating, world-class fishing and boat tours to the Gulf islands and public golf courses.

Punta Gorda has a small beach a few minutes away with a bigger beach complex at Port Charlotte about ten minutes drive. Driving a little further will bring you to the stunning Gulf beaches of Boca Grande & Englewood.

Just A few minutes walk from the villa is famous Fisherman's village; a complex of shops and restaurants on the water.

The villa is equipped with every comfort and convenience for guests. There is a large swimming pool 30'x14'(heating optional)with waterfall and multi-coloured underwater lighting ,and a small circular pool at the end for small children. The pool faces South for all day sun on the pool area.

From the pool a few steps lead down to your own private boat dock, from which you can fish, rent a boat, or just relax and watch the boats go by. The canal at the house is teeming with fish. Dolphins, giant rays ,and the occasional manatee can be spotted.

Accommodation consists of:

Master bedroom suite with king-sized bed . En-suite bathroom with bath, walk-in shower,& his&hers washbasins. Glass sliding doors open directly out on to the pool deck with panoramic views over the waterway and pool.

There are two further bedrooms (one Queen and a twin room) and a further bathroom. A seventh person (child) can be accommodated on a sofa bed at extra cost in a room off the lounge.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and dishwasher, as well as a washing machine & dryer.

A large comfortable open plan lounge with DVD, large screen T.V., and stereo opens out onto the patio & pool deck, which is equipped with plenty of outdoor furniture and sun loungers, together with a big gas BBQ/grill.

The house is fitted with intercom and piped music into every room and onto the patio.

Outside a double garage is available for your use together with an "in&out" driveway.

The house is surrounded by lush gardens and lawn, planted with exotic palms and amongst other things avocado & orange trees.
